K&N filters/Trottle Body Air Foil

Hello,just installed the K&N triple air take sytem--no problem.
Question--can I add a throttle body air foil to the LT4---I have one with the bollt and srew. Directions--remove plate from port injection and gasket---may have to file the washer(both sides)to fit inside the injection (rear)install foil and screw. Has anyone had to file down the so called washer--looks lie a bullet?
Driven 60's and 70's--still learning the C4's--Thanks:confused

Mine just dropped right it... If yours doesn't then You shouldn't need anything more than sandpaper to get it to fit properly.
