Key fob battery ?

Anyone know what size battery in the remote for a 96 and the best place to get it. I checked one store and they were all too small. Thanks, Guy

most remote units I have seen use same battery as a computer motherboard or a watch , the nickel sized ones . 3 volt.

DURACELL DL2450 or equivalent.

Go to Chevy. Make sure the battery they give does NOT have a lip on it. If it does, it won't work.
