Does anyone have any experience with part no 3890 High-Flo Runners for 85-88 engines?
According to Edelbrock, the runners will work with OE or aftermarket Base sold by Edelbrock. They say that the unit is compatible with stock fittings and emissions features, and ensures a broad torque curve, improves throttle response and mid-range power with no changes to the stock computer.

Their runners are comparable to those offered by Lingenfelter, TPiS, etc.

Theyre just bigger and with bigger ports than the stocker. However, the addition of just runners doesnt help much, your main restriction is the intake manifold and the exhaust manifolds. So, your money would be best spent by adding a bigger base like the one offered by Edelbrock, TPiS, LPE, etc...

I have seen results of about a .1 in the 1/4 from AS&M runners, whereas with a bigger base youre talking .3.
