So I bought this 1973 Corvette and it was nice to start with until I didn't think it wasn't up to par.

Finding I bought 40 years worth of neglect I started buying stuff the right the wrong done by time.

New Bushings, sway bars, springs (front and rear) shocks, hoses, bearings and I forget what else.

This is what I have today.

One or two more good steam cleanings and the POR 15 goes on....I was surprised there is little rust and no holes.

I should have taken a pic of the new 375 HP 350 in a crate and rebuilt trany with shift kit.

Next is the new Interior then off to paint.

More pictures and progress. I kid you not that everything under this cars is new now.

All new seals, bearings, U joints Spring, shocks, cables, brake hoses, clips, sway bars, trans lines.

New Gymkana front 550 springs.

Front before it was cleaned up, POR15'ed and painted.

After.

More to come.

Rebuilt brakes,

New 375 HP 350 going in.

Toying with fuel lines..for Quick Fuel 680.

Then the throttle linkage needed some work.

1st set of long Tube Header just didn't have any ground clearance.

Issues fixed and it runs.......does it ever run....sound more like a quarter mile car than a driver.

Summit Patriot Ceramic Coated Short Tube Header, Reduced Gear Mini Starter

Beautiful job. This car must be a tremendous source of pride and satisfaction for you. Congrats on your perserverance and attention to detail. I would be a nervous wreck taking this out on the streets full of snot nosed kids (and adults too) on cell phones and texting.
