If you posted an Attachment (photo) in your thread and it's disappeared or turned into the dreaded Red X, chances are the link was broken.

The first step is to make certain the Attachment has been uploaded and is located in your Attachments file.

Go to your UserCP and select Attachments from the column on the bottom left side of the page.

This will open your Attachments file and display a list by title of all the Attachments you have uploaded. If you select the "Show Thumbnails" button, it will dispay a thumbnail sized image, making your search much easier.

If the photo you're looking for is not listed, then you'll have to upload it again.

If the photo is present in your Attachments folder, then you can simply copy the shortcut to it and edit your post to include it.

Scroll your cursor over the thumbnail and right click. This will open a popup menu from which you can select "Copy Shortcut".

Return to your post and click on the "Edit" button at the bottom of the post box.

This will open the post and allow you to select the "Insert Image" button.

When the popup opens, right click in the box and select "Paste"

After you paste the shortcut into the box, click OK.

You won't see the image but you'll see something that looks like this:

Click on the "Save" button and your post should reappear with the image visible.

:wThanks Jane Ann, I think I know what happened now, and we always look for someone else to blame other than our own fault. BTW the last lady to say trust me, I married her and it lasted for 53 yrs. Thanks again for your vital information.:upthumbsScott:beer
