I'm in the market for an LT-1 again, and just found this site. WOW! Fascinating to find a bunch of people into the same car. I owned one of the first LT-1s back in 1970, and in 1992 bought one of the last ones from 72 with a/c. I figured some of u either know of one for sale, or surf the net like me and find good candidates u aren't currently interested in, on ebay, vettehound, etc. If you'd post them here, or email me, that would be cool.

I've got a 71 Coupe that I'm thinking about selling. It's mulsanne blue with black leather, not a show car but nice original driver. Send email if interested.

In case you hadn't seen it. I ran across an ad for a 72 LT-1 T-Top w/AC for sale in the Portland area. Found it in the auto trader website. Asking price I recall was around 25K. Believe it was orange ext. Tan int.

Hi all, Summersclassiccars.com, 72 LT-1 w/ac.I saw it too cause I've been looking also. They have a lot of pics. I noticed by studying the pics that it has good looking paint & int.,but missing ac comp, smog equip and a few other engine parts if I remember right. No matter I emailed the guy, Jesse, and he said he did not know anything about the stuff I mentioned from the photos. How can you market a car you are not up on if a customer calls with questions? Seems like I've ran into alot of that when dealing long distance with dealers. What gives....don't these guys want to sell cars? I also found a 71 cpe lt-1 in Wa. in vettefinders.com looked very cherry in & out for 19K, but I live in NY, maybe some one else is interested... only thing the car has an expansion tank, but everything else is correct, TI, 1 fuel line, tach, no #'s block was decked, but 3970010 block, heads casting mark on fr end right, even the #'s by the oil filter, but the owner is very upright, sent me all kinds of pics.

that dealer had that 72 LT1ac on ebay a couple months ago, and it only reached $20K if I remember, which was under the reserve. They also have a 71 LT1 vert... with the wrong valve covers, if u can possibly imagine... LOL I mean how little does it take to put the right valve covers on it if u want $32,995.?

Hi lt1srule, may be it is just me, but for33K I would think a complete car is to be expected. How come on most of the repaints I see the hood stripes are missing? You would think for that kinda of doe the would put the decals back on! Where is the A.I.R. system? The ad says nothing about what was done on the motor rebuild, does it have s/s brakes.....etc. Some of these dealers kill me! tt72

There's a 70 coupe for sale in San Diego. I talked to the owner this week. The car is documented and has had a lot of work done to it, but the block was decked when the engine was rebuilt and the car was repainted an incorrect color. Asking $26,000.
