LT4 LT4 vs GS (mostly a discussion of brakes)

1996 LT4 Topic
What brand of pads would you use for a every day driver?

after trying many pads on various vehicles. I would only use GM or Bendix fleet pads. most other pads wear out too quickly, no stopping power, or various other problems.

Bendix has various grades of pads, and only the fleet or heavy duty SUV pads work well for me.

I tried all grades of Raybestos, and I didn't like any of them. not even the expensive ones.

Do you have a part#?? I get a discount from a GM dealer.
Thanks

why not just buy a red ZR1 and get both a rare car and red and even a little more power ;)

I was going to buy a used LT5 but I drive my LT4 everyday and there are not many people I trust to work on the DOHC engine and is too expensive for my budget. The ZR1 is my favorite C4 with the wider rear end gor the 11 inch wheels and the 405 HP LT5 (later models) and there are a ton of used parts and new after market parts for the Small Block, my LT4 is rare enough for me as it was a one year only C4 option.(auto trans had the LT1)
