I was high bidder on the 88 TT #07 AeroVert on eBay when he ended the auction but I guess he had someone show up with cash in hand and he was concerned since his last bidder was bogus. I bought a black hardtop off of eBay too. Oh well I am still looking. Good luck on yours

Yeah - I know there were a few deadbeat bidders recently on e bay (when it comes to (Vettes)

Do you have any other (Callaways) lined up??

I am still looking and I called on the 90 that you posted the # on and it is gone. I have found several a TT 88 aerovert , TT 89 vert and a 90 CR-1. I am in no hurry and looking for the right buy and in the mean time trying to sell my 95 pace car. I do not have to have mine sold if the right buy comes along but would have to rent garage space. That is one of the reasons I sold my other cars. One of the only vettes that I have not owned is a Callaway. The 98 pace car was a great driver but I think out of all the vettes that I have owned the ZR-1 was the most fun. I have been thinking about going back to a ZR-1 but it will have to be a 95 unless it is a CR-1. If you know of any I would appreciate the info. I have had a few offers on the pace car but they are a little soft but I guess most of the market is so there is no since getting upset my thoughts are if you sell cheep then buy cheep. I took the biggest hit on my 92 ZR-1 and took the longest to sell and yes it was a premium car. I am just kind of undecided in which way to go. I also thought about a 2000 vert and putting a 427 in it. I guess when the right deal comes along it will just happen. That’s why I will wait on a deal so if I want to change I do not have to take a beating or stuck with it. Just my thoughts. :)

Thanks HoldHard2 that is a beautiful car I seen your listing early but I am looking for something cheaper. I am partial to the vert and that is one of the biggest hold backs on the ZR-1. :)

Thanks for looking. I was in the same mode when I found the Callaway. I had a line on a 1994 Admiral Blue ZR1 in Texas and made plane reservations to go see it when the Callaway appeared. The ZR1 had been extensively modified but the Callaway was bone stock, and still is in that condition.

As you can tell from your research, Callaway's are usually well taken care of and that is reflected in the price.

Good luck with your search.

HoldHard

:D This sounds like the '88tt I bought about 3 months ago. I got it out of Palm Springs. Love it. It was as described by the seller.:upthumbs

:) I'm going to take some pics this spring. I thought it was a good buy. They were asking $18,900, but droped it to $18,300. I was worried that they would sell it before I got the money together.:D

I would have been worried too - That is an absolutely great deal :upthumbs

Was the overall condition as advertised??

Looking forward to the pics :v :m

The overall condition was "just as advertized". The only thing that I could see was that the carpet, where your left foot rests, was slightly worn. I was well pleased with everything about the car.:) :)

What an AWESOME deal!!! I can't wait to see the pics. I had shopped this car when I was looking for mine. But it was being sold thru a broker at that time and I couldn't deal with him.

I really do not see these (B2K's) dropping in price much more, if any - I think there are some cases where clean low mile Callaways have held value and may even rise, as they sure have seen a lot of recognition over the past couple of years :upthumbs
