MC Solenoid on O'scope

Here are two screen shots of the waveform from the M/C Solenoid, the green connector. Both are taken at idle.

What is strange is that the waveform did not change much when I increased RPM like I thought it would. I was expecting it to go towards full rich. I did see a little change in the time between the tall upward and the shorter downward spike at idle a few times....not much though.

This may be due to the Hyper Tec PROM I have installed as the original one was bad; have no idea.

The more I think about this I am wondering now that something has failed. The last time I put a dwell meter on I had a nice varying dwell, but the O'scope is telling me different now. I tried the dwell meter again and the meter did not even move, so it may be broke now for some reason.

Has anyone else ever put an O'scope on the Mixture Control connector?

I do'nt have a O'scope but as you say logic also tells me that the image should be different between idle and throttle.
