Do appreciate the thought you gave to this. I agree with your assessment of the black C5, the car's lines are obscured some in the color. Color is definitely a personal thing, problem is they're all outstanding, its just a matter of finding the one I want most.

I ordered an '02 coupe in black, I think the car is too big and black actually made it look smaller in my opinion. The car itself is great and you should definitley buy what a color that turns you on!

Yellow Fever

I agree with Erick (most beautiful 72 I've ever seen) yellow is a great color and makes a real statement. Mine is Quicksilver which is a more conservative color and that's me. But the yellow ones really stand out and turn a lot of heads.

I wouldnt recommend black for daily driving. You get waterspots on your car even after you wash it they are still there. I end up washing and waxing my car once a week! Good thing they go away with wax!

Millenium yellow - GO 4 IT!

It's worth the effort with the bugs. People turn their heads as previous postings have stated. I love my yellow C4..

My "next project" (sometime in the future) is a Millenium yellow Z06. But I'm still dreaming..., have to convince my wife...
Anyone have some good arguments?

I think you'll like it, bugs and all.
All my previous cars have been conservative, with dull and non-descript colors. Buying the millenium yellow one was a wild hair that I've never regretted. It brings out my inner child

Had a black/black C5 pull alongside yesterday & say he wished he had gotten the yellow!

Now that is when vettes looked like vettes! I've always wanted the '69 with the gill sides. It was always a toss up between the black & yellow.

Looks to be in beautiful shape. Are you the first owner? Even the chrome looks new! Now you have to turn it around so we can see the front too. Is that a vanity plate? I'm still waiting for mine...darn poky government, 3 months so far and I already know it's reserved for me!!! My son's friend has waited 6 months so far...what's with them anyway?

Funny I was just trying to describe that yellow to my family last week. Now I can show them. Seems to have less orange to it.

Poodle, actually I am the 3rd registered owner. It belonged to an Olds dealership for quite a few years and sat in the back. The chrome is about a 7-8 out of 10. I am not sure how to post pics of the car, but if you want to see some other pics let me know how to email them to you. The plates on the car when this picture was taken was an ordinary NJ tag. Now the car has QQ plates (antique) as I can avoid yearly inspections here in the state and it is much cheaper to register each year.
