Defective mechanic work can take many forms. Some common examples of defective mechanic work may include:
Failure to fully repair broken or worn parts
Installing the wrong replacement part
Performing the wrong procedure
Failing to notice major repairs that need to be done (i.e. improper inspection and diagnosis)
Causing damage to the engine or other parts during the work
Modifying the operating parts in a way that makes the car illegal to operate on public road
Failing to remove scraps, debris, dirty fluids, or other foreign objects during the repair procedure
I'm kind of curious as to how long and how far this little disaster in the making is going to go on. Just my opinion but,,,We seem to have a member that is posting dubious methods of car repair. I've yet to see any form of disclaimer saying something to the effect that "Do at your own risk, The Corvette Action Center takes no responsibility for any repair done using these methods of repair." At the least, post some kind of CYA statement...
I can just hear the attorney asking the defendant where and how he learned to do this failed repair causing the accident.
