My '93 Vette and a truck

Hey y'all,
I am sick at heart...
Last Sunday, my beautiful Medium Quasar Blue Metallic '93 Vette was sideswiped by a mid-sized U-Haul-like truck. Driver wasn't looking where he was going and decided to go from the right lane, thru me- to a fast food restaurant across the street. I'm waiting on the pro-shop (Barnett's Body Shop) to let me know-something.
Damage: My air bag deployed. Passenger window imploded and that door is stuck shut. Damage on front passenger bumper and wheel well chewed up and everything near it, hood is bent and popped open backwards. Car still runs and all electronics (AC and cassette player), except for passenger door, were working. The keyless remote still snicks the driver's door unlocked. I hope my car can be fixed.
I wish I could post a photo to show the damage, but haven't quite figured out how to do this. Any words to console a heavy and scared heart would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oh, Vee93!

How horrible!

I'm sure your vette will come out being as good as new after her repairs. Still, it is awful knowing your 'baby' has been damaged and you have to wait on repairs.
My sympathies are with you, but at least the accident wasn't bad enough to send her to the junkyard in the sky! It sounds like she'll roll again.

Terrible thing! I often wonder when this will happen to me. Can't worry about it though...I've learned that. Could have been worse and soon it will be behind you. Just think what it will be like when you get er back! It just gets better!

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. Too many people drive like idiots today and cause unnecessary damage and stress to innocent people - it drives me crazy. ad
