Hello
I possede a corvette of 1981 and my batery inflates. What do I have to make?

Thank you to answer me

Exorcism? May help :D :confused :SLAP sorry, I can't help you.

By "inflate" do you mean "expands" or gets bigger than normal? :confused

OR type the word in French that you are describing and we'll see if we can get the literal translation, otherwise we're not sure what you mean.

Batteries can liberate hydrogen gas and have some internal pressure. They should be vented in some way.

My guess is he means discharge/deflates

Vous pouvez nous écrire in francais si nécessaire! Est-ce que vous parlez d'un surcharge ou survoltage de votre pile?
Way to go, Mikey.

Ma baterie prend plus de volume, de place. Les côtés gondolent. La baterie est une interstate 60 mégatron MT75 650 CCA 815Ca.

Thank.

Bruno is saying that his "battery is increasing in volume, taking more space. The sides are distorted. It's an Interstate 60 megatron MT75 650 CCA 815Ca."

Aside from freezing, any ideas?

They generate gas when they charge. Is it vented properly? Is it overcharging?

If it were me I would have the charging system checked and if it was okay, I would replace the battery. The last thing he wants to see is that battery exploding.

An overcharging condition will expand a battery till it finally explodes. Not a pretty thought. It could also have and internal short which will result in the battery expanding and exploding. Needless to say, if it didn't have the problem before the battery was replaced, and it does now, logically (said Mr. Spock) the battery must be defective. Since the charging system seems to check out I would replace the battery and monitor the replacement to see if the problem is resolved.

Ja mai appelle, (My crude attempt at French, which I flunked in HS)
