my 84 wants to die when turning corners,it seems like it looses almost all power when turning, anyone have a clue as to what my problem might be?when at a stop going just forward there is no problem what so ever, only when i turn?
i appreciate any help i can get on this one

Perhaps with the fuel sloshing around in the tank, the pump can't pick up enough fuel to feed the engine?

well now its starving for fuel going straight ,but not all the time.im going to change fuel filter when it cools down ,then go from there.thanks alot for ur help

How about a broken engine grounding strap?

I had a 69 camaro that did that. It would cut out on turns only and sometimes even backfire when it cut back on. Eventually blew a hole in my muffler. Found out it was just a loose ignition wire that would swing against the block and arc when I took turns. Thrrew on some electrical tape and never had the problem again. Check for loose wires.

You might also make sure the baffle in the gas tank isn't broke loose. If it only does it when you're fairly low on gas that could be a possibility.
