I know this has been an few weeks ago but somehow I missed this thread. Sorry to hear of your loss. I had my '67 442 stolen when it was just a few months old. They took the wheels off and left it laying on a side street when I was living in Indy. At least I got it back in mostly undamaged condition. Needed brake drums from being dropped on the ground. The only up side was that the original 2 ply tires were used up anyway.

I hope you can find another nice '81. We would miss your input here on the L81 Forum.
