Happened to look under the hood today and saw to my horror that the air filter lid wasn't meeting flush to the filter housing, and air was bypassing the filter... turns out that the right-side pressed-in nut had pulled out due to a crack in the plastic housing. Not sure if it was just age, or if there's too much vibration now, or what, but I need a replacement housing quick!
