I just went to the COG site and saw the new home page with this photo:

And the welcome message: The Callaway Owners Group (COG) welcomes all the new Supercharged Callaway Corvette and C16 Owners to our family.

Think maybe the 'Absolutely No Entry' sign should be edited out, or am I seeing messages that aren't there? :L

Jon, the site in general is under reconstruction. Your point is very well taken and a more suitable one will go in its place...
Any other suggestions for the revised site?;shrug

I know it's being worked on, but make sure to do compatibility testing on it. It's displaying the header on two lines in both Firefox and AOL for me. It looks like maybe the site was designed at 1620 x 1280 or whatever resolution. Not many people have that. I have 1280x1024.

The pricing should be pulled as it is very subjective...and may hurt values which are continuing to rise based on supply and demand / features.

Also not all Supernaturals had the dash plaque...

Pricing is based upon what cars have sold for and is/was used by a commercial guide for establishing a baseline for the cars.

It is only a guide and does say so - In fact, there is even a disclaimer :beer

COG SITE said:
It should also be noted, that while there are certainly cars above excellent condition and their values will be higher than those shown, there may also be a car with conditions below fair. While cars above excellent condition are seldom driven, or as new, a car below fair may have a history or reason for its lower value and may not automatically be a bargain.

*Again, please remember that the above is to be used as only a guide – if you have specific questions regarding a car and its potential purchase, feel free to drop an e-mail or contact Callaway Cars directly for more information. If you have any additions to the above guide, please let us know – Thanks.

Re: dash plaques, which SNAT's did not get plaques? I have yet to see one without. Not saying they could not have had one, but... ;shrug

Mine did not have one originally but it does now :) There are others from a thread in 2005 as I recall

Brangeta,

For those with lower video resolution, the nav bar scrolls to 2 lines or greater if your browser is not full width. I test browser compatibility with Win(IE7, Netscape, Opera, and Firefox), MacOS(Safari and Firefox), FreeBSD (Firefox), and Linux (Firefox). I all works and this is interim as I would rather make incremental changes rather than all at once and then the content is really stale.

Over time you will see more Flash and xml functionality and I realize that some users with limited bandwidth may have issues but then again they probably already have issues with Youtube or other sites.

It is all in the spirit of progress ;) but check frequently as things will be in flux.

P.S. And no... I will not be designing it for phone browsing, at least not yet :eyerole

come on, this should get priority :D
In work time on the toilet mobile browsing the internet for 15 minutes.

Symbian OS was sold to Nokia and published to be open licence soon,
So I have no doubts that there will come some clever applications to browse full screen soon. :thumb

Ok, TMI !!!!! Too Much Information!!!!

I really do not need to know about your toilet experiences. ;LOL

Yep, heard about Symbian. Good move for Nokia. However it does not help people with poor video/graphics support on their desktop PCs.

I agree! Very cool. :cool A nice addition would be the elevated pic from the Carlilse 07 magazine, the one that shows the cars lined up in front of the Callaway building.

Send it over... I don't believe I have it.
