OBDI code scanner

Can anyone recommend a decent code scanner for the OBDI ECM?

My AutoXray 6000 will read OBDI and OBDII.

There's one built in. Short pins A to B on the OBD connector. Read the code from the flashing "check Engine " light. No code is 12 i.e., one flash pause then two quick flashes. As you look @ the connector pins A&B are on the top row last two on the right.

special OBD1 test tool = paperclip LOL ..... Wonder if the guy who invented that paperclip ever though it would be used for diagnostic work.
