What are the benefits and draw backs for Octane Boost on an L98? Spend the money or not?

If it's stock, then it would be a waist of money. Pump 91-93 is plenty. Adding octane boost when not required will actually slow the car down.

87 octane actually burns faster than 93.

Save your money. Your car has a knock sensor to cut back on the timing if it detects a knock. The other problem with putting additives into gas is sometime you'll get deposits on the plugs and oxygen sensor, which isn't good. The bottom line is you shouldn't need it. If your car pings, you may have something wrong which octane boost won't fix.

Does it hurt to put a injector cleaner in the gas tank?
If it's o.k., which one would be the best to use?
thanks

I would not use an injector cleaner unless you have a problem.
Believe it or not, any name brand gasoline has cleaners already in it. If you don't drive your car for long periods, I would use a fuel stabilizer to prevent varnish build up. But that's about all you'll need.
