Oil Change ?

I use the AC PF48. It's what was on the car from Bowling Green. I bought 6 for $25 from my local dealer. What does everyone else pay for their filters? I chose the factory filter just in case I had a warranty issue. Now that it's beyond my original factory warrany, I continue to use the ACDelco filters.

I don't think I payed that much ,I think it was more like $12 each. Keep in mine your standard of living is much higher in California.

I paid $25 for 6 of 'em. That works out to $4 each.
As far as "our standard of living" goes, the world wants to be here. (And most of the world IS here, it seems!)

What brand filter do ya'll use?? I have been using Mobil 1 on my 08. A/C on everything else!

I use the standard AC Delco oil filter. I was going get a case of the Duraguard Ultra filters, but after I spoke with Hib Halverson here and talking to the GM master technician who does the work, both agreed the the Ultragard is kinda like overkill for the light to medium duty driving I do. If it was raced or under heavy loads it be different case. But I think most brands of filters are manufactured by only a few companies and different names are put on them before leaving the factory.

Just last week I was interested in a new battery for my winter car, and I came across an article about automotive batteries and that almost all brands are made by a handful of companies, Johnson Controls for one and DEKA and Interstate also. There's another one but I can't remember the name. I've heard that NAPA has great filters as well !
