Dwayne,

Very good news. The LS6 should be a blast to drive.

Dwayne was glad to hear about two things today.

1. His new motor was in and his Vette was ready to go home.
2. I did keep it under 90 on the way to his house. :D

Dwayne,

Just read this tonight.....sorry to hear about your mishap. But man you have made a wild ride out of "Ole Yella" now.....:thumb

This Just In

I talked to Dwayne this afternoon and he's loving the "kick a$$" LS6.

That is one hellova gear change you made there mister. Glad to see it all worked out. I do have one question though..... Couldn't you get the darn thing painted some other color while it was there?

Dwayne must be thinking it over. He's been noticeably quiet since the Quicksilver paint job was recommended.

Glad everything woeked out as good as it did. I hope your happy with the extra horses. Myself, I drove tactor trailers and wreckers for years and I guess I just got used to babying engines. ( I've only had my 2003 over a hundred miles per hour once) But I have had local Corvette restoration shop tell me that the LXS engings are really a tough breed. And I can imagine as some aftermarket tuner get 650 and more HP out of these engine. I;m sure it was costly, but ignoe some posters here, we're driving Corvettes, not cavaliers. And I like to know who among us haven't made a simple mistake before? I applude you, you didn't endanger yourself or anyone else. Glass houses are not great targets! Good luck with the new engine!:)
