painting motor parts?

On thread title: Sure, paint up them engine parts orange & silver (degrease first, or it will be a collosal waste of time)

On the AC install: I am sure it will be a great addition to your 65, just be prepared for the possibility that your car will run a little hotter, no two ways around that, as the engine will be working a little harder and cooling might be compromised a little.

On when I stop driving the C2: I'm more like Paul; the reason I stop driving upon the first snow is that is when the sand and salt go down in copious quantities, so even if a nice warm day should then appear, the roads are shot (old motorcycle habit I guess, but I hate salty sand being kicked up into all of the crevices in my undercarriage).

On the explosion of my home heating budget (gas here): OK Kids, no gifts this Christmas! We have to cut back, or we will be shivering without heat! All kidding aside, that's a serious hit to the budget.

On general matters: Had the 65 out last night, took each of the two little kiddies out for a ride. They love it, even though they can't see a damn thing but the sky (sit too low in the car). Life is good.

Old motorcycle habit? I have the same hate for salty sand being kicked up into all of the crevices in my undercarriage but that hate came from a misguided youth spent on the Delaware beaches. :) Barry, Got to Eastwood.com and put these numbers in the search box. 10041 Z and 10120. Metal prep stuff that will save you some grief.
