There is no DTC P0447 in the Service Manual.

Double check the code number, please.

There is an electrical problem with the canister vent solenoid.

If you are a DIY do you have experience with the C6 electrical system and do you have a Service Manual?

My truck is still under extended warranty. The service department said they change a lot of them.

After I told the parts guy I read online about the problems; he told me GM had tried couple of fixes with new part numbers.

Hi there,

P0449 is an electrical failure. My question is what are we talking about? Your pickup truck or your ZO6 ?

I mean, which is it?

The part number for the truck is not the same as Corvette.

A simple electrical resistance test of the Vent solenoid can isolate your condition. Just make sure you check the terminal tension because I have seen connectors JUST AS MUCH as the solenoid itself.
