Hi

I have been reading up on the problem with the thin spoke stress crack problem and l have some questions.

While l checked out my wheels l have not noticed any problems but l only have approx 13,000 miles on the clock.

Is this too premature because l noticed that the complaints were with 2002's with approx 30,000 miles.

Are the cracks visable on the outside or is this on the inside?

The problem seems to be on the rear wheels is this correct?

Thanks

Alan

ps l still have the gmpp extended warranty for another year if this matters.

read wheels ?

Sorry typo

I meant to say rear wheels!

If l was an exotic dancer the poles would come in handy to practice with but what has this to do with my question?

Thanks

Alan

Anybody out there?

Is this such as strange question or is this a non issue?

Alan

It is not a strange question at all. I have not seen much discussion of this on the CAC forum, so maybe it is not all that common. I have seen a mention, but it has not been a hot topic. I have a Z06, so I have different wheels.

I did find this in a brief forum search. Read down a ways, and another member thought it was just the 2000 wheels.
