Thanks for the nod to my Vette... the color was the first draw to me. Well, okay, the second - first was the fact it's a Vette! I can relate to the span of years between first ride and ownership - I wanted a Corvette since I was 10 years old but life had other plans until I was 45 and decided it's now or never! But I got you beat in one detail, my first Corvette ride was when I test drove the 1994 which turned out to be my FIRST Corvette.

Always get a lot of comments at shows.

Me too. The most common one is "S.O.B.! I thought that thing was Black!"

Took me over 45 years after my 1st ride in a Corvette to get one of my own. Wish I hadn't waited so long.

You knew your prioreties.

Mine is #5 but there were 17 years between it and #4 and purchasing another Vette was not even a thought on the radar screen.

Life is GOOD!

BuckIVette, that’s one beautiful vert! If you see a Polo Green Coupe driver waving at you up Dublin’s way, good chance it might be me! I’m around there quite often, I often cruise up Avery/Murfield Drive towards the golf course.

I’ve been going to the show for some time, great show, you get to see many quality cars there. A few years ago, there had been a Grand Sport up there that made me drool! I’ll probably be up there Saturday, I just hope we have good weather. I’ll keep an eye out for your car!

Didn’t have my car there last year, I’m currently working on detailing my LT4 (engine compartment at the moment). I hope to possibly show it at McDormans in September.
