I have a 1988 coupe and my power seats just quit working, either side will do nothing.

fuse panel on the end of the dash, pass side...four circuit breakers, one empty cavity at right side of fuse layout...bottom circ breaker is seats+, third down is windows, swap those two (both should be 30A) and see if prob jumps over.

if not report back and we'll go further:)

DWM, Hi, check your door locks see if their working, there's a wire that abrades under both seats, usually the driver seat is the problem since it's used more often. There is a bulletin out on the problem and shows you exactly where and how to correct. Door locks/seats share same circuit breaker. The circuit breaker was VERY hot to the touch on my 88. I found the bulletin on CAC. Hope this helps....
