Preferred lube for door lock linkage?

Is there a preferred lube for the several door lock linkage pieces within the door? I have mine apart (installing new actuator) and figured I'd try and clean and lube everything inside while I was in there. How about the window lift hardware?

Is a silicone based lube sufficient?

The recommended lube for door hardware, links, rods, pivots, glass rollers and tracks, etc. is Lubriplate or equivalent white lithium grease.
