I drove GM's last remaining active ride prototype at Milford about ten years ago. It was an interesting experience, that's for sure.

Had a chance to drive "Conan" (the long w.b. V12-powered C4) and was in line to do that at a press preview one time but then the car's engine controls malfunctioned and its Falconer V12 would not start.

Never drove the "DR1". In fact, I've never seen that car run.

Drove Snake Skinner along with the Big Dog a couple of different times back in the early 90s.

I drove the DR-1 in 90 at Cypress Gardens but they would not give me the power key. Drove like a coupe.

I found 89 pilot s/n 4 in Florida several years ago. It had been used at a tech school to train mechanics in the early 90s. It had a repaint by the school but had not been used in years. It was returned to the Heritage Mesum and may be one of those for sale as they had s/n 3 in the collection.
