Ractive mufflers!

Anybody heard of this brand?
Are they any good?
Some on ebay for around $50 for both?
Said to fit 84-96?
I looked up the brand on google, can't find any for corvettes?

I've never heard of them, but you can't hardly go wrong with $50. That's cheap enough that if they aren't what you thought they'd be you can take them off. Keep us posted.

They are Stainless Steel to boot, like you I couldn't find any that were for Corvette.

I did a Google search on "Ractive" mufflers and came up with not only eBay listings (but no Corvette-specific mufflers) but other companies that sell them. For the most part they look like stuff for "Sports Compacts" :eyerole I found price ranges from cheap to over $250 each.

At the price you found, I would expect that "you get what you pay for" A $50 stainless steel muffler is probably going to be cheap material and there is no way to tell how they would sound.

I would suggest that you look at a pair of good Flowmaster Series 40 or Series 44 and have your local muffler shop do the install.
