Question: Rats, Mice, Chipmunks Oh My!!!

CATS CATS CATS! :D i have 5 myself never had a rodent problem, HOWEVER! if your not careful they will try and walk on it so i have to cover it when it is parked, and NO i will Not shoot my cats, they're part of the family. just like the vette. It is nice to see them bring mice to the back door and leave them, thats why they get treats lol:boogie

Well, I just got done getting the girls ready for winter. I put mice traps under the hood and around the outside, (baited with peanut butter) dryer sheets under the hood and interior, Irish Spring soap under the hood, interior and on top of the rear wheels, and most importantly I disconnected the batteries after reading the Vette Caught on Fire post.
Thanks to everyone for the info.

I have seen a few things with critters and if there is a .... :)

Buddy calls me up to bring over a new wire set for his Pinto and while we were replacing them his wife pulls in. A woodchuck comes up the drive and under her hood ... to eat the wires. It ate all of the wires on his car.

2008 Subby Forrester, a tiny spider got into the gas tank vent and started a web so the car was real hard to gas.

1990 Mercedes ... mice pack the air filter with dog food sooooo in the spring, the car doesn't even start.

:ohnoes They are everywhere .... and .... they are waiting for .. Y-O-U .... :)

I have a great idea. This is what I do. DRIVE IT once in a while during the winter. If it's not snowing, I'm in mine every weekend. You guys kill me. I don't have a shiny c5/c4 either. It's a 65!!! ( But it's shiny) It's a friggin car! I've even driven it in the rain. OH MY GOD!

Only problem I have with winter driving is the salt and sand. Get that inthe frame and could cause some real rust problems. One other thing, yours most likely don't have 10 in plus wide tires on it. They make things pretty wild on an inch of snow.

Yep, you're right there. I do visit the local car wash quite a bit in the winter, but I get stir crazy if I can't get it out once in a while. We've had quite a bit of snow here lately, so I can't even get it out of the garage. The streets are pretty clear, but my driveway is not. I hate to shovel snow, but..........anyway, I was feeling a little stir crazy so I'd thought I'd push some buttons. Didn't mean to offend anybody. Everybody should do what they like with their vettes.

No offense taken here. :)
