Rear Window Louver installed

talked to a guy about doing the back glass. He wouldnt do it. Problem is that its curved too much, to tight a fit to get back there and do it. and the defroster lines run the wrong way to make the seam "invisible". I didnt go to anyone else and ask because he is the best in town and if he wont do it I wouldnt let anyone else do it.

Mid-America part # 602-134 is a curved, one-piece solid sheet of smoked lexan that fits inside the window on 78-82 (except CE). Says it won't interfere with the defogger and can easily be removed for cleaning. Have your credit card ready, operators are standing by..... special offer $99.00 (reg $139.99). I don't have one myself, just saw it while surfing.

That is radical! My little old louvers are a very minor upgrade indeed.... I love it! Batman would be proud to arrive in that ride..:)

Instead of the louvers...has anyone had that back glass tinted? Or is the curve too much for the film?

I think I like the ABS ones...the link to the original poster does not seem to work?? I would like to see what the aluminum ones look like on the car.
