Help! Remove and Replace 1982 Radio Advice???

1982 low miles(47K) Black over Silver Green recently acquired.....OEM radio not working, everything else is!! Any tips on removing the radio for repair to avoid breaking anything?? As I recall the center console bezels are very fragile....Must it be removed to R&R the radio or can you snake the radio back and out one of the console side panels?? Shop manual on order...just doing some homework before starting this project.

Wait for the shop manual or assembly instruction manual. Removal is fairly straight forward but there are two hidden trim screws at the bottom of the bezel holding the console trim plate.

Use a light touch; it's all plastic.
