Removing stickers from fiberglas

Hello everyone,
The previous owner of my 1995 was a crazy real estate agent who applied his company name to the car with large applique's.
What is the best way to remove these from fiberglas?
Should I use a heat gun or just warm soapy water?

I never used it but heard WD40 is good for that. It's fish oil based.

3M Adhesive Cleaner is extremely good, It's just not easily available. Check Eckler's.com

You might ask a sign shop what they would recommend. Stay away from the heat gun idea, fiberglass, paint and heat are not a good combination. hnoes

Ive used WD 40 many many times to remove stickers on used cars. Go SLOW and do it in 1\2 inch sections as that is about as far as the wd 40 seeps under the sticker. IF possible peel the edge up on top, spray it and let it set a few minutes.

and maybe peel and pray

if a little extra force is needed try a plastic windshield ice scraper. Use even more caution here !

Wash the area around the sticker first so no sand or dirt gets next to the paint.

A heat gun is a bit much, try a hair dryer if all else fails.

I peeled off the car sales place stickers, started with just parking in the hot sun, then helped it out with a hand-held hair dryer - set at low and moved quickly keeping it right at the line of separation. Can't see where it was after washing.

I had an 86 Monte Carlo SS with the stripes down the side. One fender was peeling and you can't buy the one piece ($600 for kit). A friend at a body shop got me a soft rubber wheel made by 3M that fits in a drill. It took all the stickers off and left very little residue, no paint damage at all. Cleaned up the residue with wax. Took about 3-4 hrs to do the whole car, but when I finished you couldn't tell they had been there.
