Repairing hole in header

I bought a used set of chrome header side pipes and after I get them home I see a couple long 1/8" x 2" holes in the collector where the 4 tubes go into one. I think the metal is thick enough there I can TIG weld those. The one I'm looking for advice is a bend in front of the collector has a hole and thin. Anyone been a successful at brazing or patching this area??
