The right side brake lights arent working. Ive ruled out bulbs, the running lights and turn signals work. Bad ground maybe? any ideas? thanks in advance, -Rob

did more trouble shooting just now.... I removed the entire harness looking for broken wires, chaffing, etc. nothing. I've got power going into the connector by the diff. Running lights and turn signals work on the right side, but brakes and hazards do not work on right side. All fuses are good under the kickpanel.

I think we may have found it. The tilt wheel when moved up and down makes the right brake lights work on/off. Ever hear of this one? What could be bad (other than a mystery wire(s)) in there that could cause this?

Rob, sorry for the late entry here. I am glad that you have narrowed the problem down. Hopefully someone here will jump in with some help....obviously, I'm not much good.

Welcome to CAC and keep us posted of your findings and repair.

LOL! My 73 Buick LeSabre use to do the exact same thing! I would start by pulling your codes and let's take it from there.
