Rocker studs RR ????

I will agree with that, I just did the drivers side and wow what a difference.

Hey Rich, did you do the 1.52 ex and 1.6 intake roller tip rockers, just wondering what your thoughts are on this, along with any setup issues.

The first time, I did the split-ratio roller tips. It didn't make a hugely noticeable difference, but the engine ran quieter (result of adjusting the lash?) and I think (with no data to back it up) also a tiny bit faster - it wanted to rev quicker.

However, were I to do it again, I'd use FULL rollers, rather than roller tips. Easier to adjust, more of a difference.

I kind of wanted to stay with the stock valve covers, so I am just trying to figure out what rockers to go with 1.5 -1.6 and are there clearance issues with the 1.6's.

I'm not looking for huge performance gains but a little is always good, right now these are the originals with 220,000 k or 136,000 miles on them. they are in pretty good shape but you know how it is when you get the itch for more.

Thanx
Mart

You'd need to take a dremel tool to the drip tabs inside the valve covers (turn the cover over; they're obvious) and grind them down a bit, but otherwise you can use 1.6's no problem.
