I have a 92;lt1. After starting service ride control light comes on. Is this something I can correct or do I have to see the dealer? Thank you for your help and imput. FRANK

Are you driving it anywhere? If I'm not mistaken the Service Ride Control will error out if the car is not moved a certain distance/speed.
If that is not the case for you, you may need to pull the codes for the ride control. Most likely, one of the servo-motors that run the shock through the range of adjustments (self tests when the car is started) has quit or one of the plastic gears on the shock has shelled out on you, not allowing the motor to run through the range. Either way, if you pull the error codes it will tell you which shock is the culprit. And then you can start trouble shooting the system. Mine has done this a few times, but usually once I have driven it a bit it will clear itself.
