66427-450,

Man, what a beautiful display of Vettes! This has got to be heaven on earth!!

Hey 66427-450, thanks for the comments. The tires are Pirelli P4000 and the wheels are used 15x6 '60's era American Racing Torque Thrusts. I got lucky on the wheels and bought them from the Wheel Place in San Jose, California. Sam refinished these. Some (and I tend to agree) have said the shade of grey should be a little darker. Plan on doing that b/4 she's back on the street. The offset should be 3.75 and these are 3.5. I have a set of Michlin radials, narrow whites in a 215.x70Rx15 mounted on steel wheels w/factory caps so I tried to stay with that same size but the rears just didn't give me enough space at the lip of the fender ('bout my baby finger in space) to give me a good feeling. So, I went down one size to a 215.65xR15. All in all they fill the well pretty good. Click on my website for a closeup view.

Hey Allcoupedup, we must've gone to different schools together. Right now, my '5's missing it's engine and trans too. I'm in a hold (not exactly as I'm spending my time cleaning and prepping the engine bay and small parts for paint) waiting on the machine shop for the engine, the tranny shop (Master Works...took JohnZ's suggestion) for trans, the carb shop (Jerry Macneish) for the carb and Modern Cylinder Heads for the porting of the heads. My garage looks like a candidate for a swap meet :L. Speaking of garages, yours is to die for. You could stack 'em 3 high almost. Love that coupe look. Seems like those that have the 'vert's tend to long for that coupe and vice/verse. That red is magnetic. Nice.

Sam,

If you have your photos "hosted" on an Internet site, rather than residing on your hard drive, you simply include a reference to their location in your post.

If your photos have been uploaded to www.photohost.org (for example), each of them will have a specific address.

Once you know that address (by right-clicking and looking at the properties on the photo) just copy that address into your post and surround it (without spaces) with [img ]http://YourPhotoHost.com/YourPhotoAddress.jpg[ /img] (remember, no spaces).

This is one of my favorites... My coupe in the foreground and Dennis's ("Midyear") convert. next door.

i'd leave them just as they are, looks like they match the silver paint on the sidepipe covers perfectly.... i think it look great as is !

You want it ? You get it.

64 Vert with a 365horse engine, SilverBlue, dark blue interior....lots of small stuff that I had to sort out....and thanks to people like JohnZ and all the others out there....this was doable and the car runs great.

now, how did you do it.............
LOL
Barry, I took some liberties and edited your post. If you look above the text box when you are writing a post you will see a small yellow icon that looks like a square with mountians on it. If you click on that you will gat a bar to copy and paste your photo's address in. That's all there is to it.

Reminds me of Carlisle 2002. I met Dennis (midyear) there. He showed up with his newly restored 1967 L-89 black coupe. Yes, L-89.

Freaky thing is he took it from this...

...in just a few short months.

Me? I'm still pluggin' away. :eyerole

When he sees this, "Hi Dennis. I still love that car."
