Here is the freaky fuel injected roller cam 350 that was in my V8 Fiero (thus the dirty condition of the engine in the photo), that is now breathing fire under the hood of the 90 vette (thank you miniram!).

You can't really see much of it stuffed down in the car.

This is the bad boy as it was waiting to be dropped into the 69.

Pretty soon, you can't even see the motor as all the accessory stuff starts going on.

This motor was a blast squeezing into the S-10

This is how you cram a V8 up the gut of a Fiero. This is the lower hsp version I finally settled on, as the first one made more power and torque than the clutch would allow.

Stingray74CC....I'm green with envy. The '69 L71 is my favorite vette as well. Covertible to be exact. Mille Miglia Red with White soft top.

I almost had my hands on an Excellent/Mint condition one a couple years back, but couldn't get rid of my current vette fast enough. To me, the L71 was the best looking engine. I love the Tri-power setup. Although, I hear that tuning 3 carbs is a bit of a pain if they get out of whack...

Thanks

I love everything about the car except the obvious money pit that it is, but I wouldn't trade it.

The carbs have been tuned once; they were only slightly out of tune. I don't want to know what is like when they are not tuned. I'll have to have somebody show me how to do it. Something tells me though that it's not a skill you just pick up in a day or two.

Some great looking motors that's for sure! Well, I just now came in from the garage, got the motor into the car without much trouble, just a royal pain putting the headers in first then the motor. I decided to do it that way since I couldn't get the car high enough to do the headers from under the car and I'm too cheap/broke to tow it to a shop. Here's a pic of it now, man am I pumped! This was a first for me.

My Engine

Here's my L48 engine after the rebuild for my 79 vette.

I'm in the process of doing a frame off restoration and just got the engine back. It has totally been rebuilt with a new stock cam, new pistons. The cylinders have been rebored 0.020" oversize.
everything has been balance and blueprinted.
I had to change the heads due to the olds one where cracked so I don't have original heads but I can live with it.
Check out the link to my web page which is still underconstruction and you can see what my engine looks like.

Here are a couple as it sits prior to it's spring cleaning, so as they say, "Excuse our dust..."

Are the pics appearing for everyone else? What about the link, is it working? I thought they were working when I first posted, but now I come back and it seems they aren't... :confused

I tried to edit your post and re-post the IMG on the first photo. It did not work either. It looks like the format is correct. There may be a communication problem between sites.

If I'm not mistaken someone tried posting some .bmp files, I don't think they will show up. Pictures for internet should be .gif .jpg or .png I'm so tired from being in the garage since 10am I don't even remember if it was this topic... :Silly

Here's what I've got so far.

After I fine tune the camera ( read learn how to use it ) I'll take some more pictures and tell you about all the little goodies.

Guess you'll have to check it out at " the proving grounds"
