I have just about sorted out my "new" '93 but have a few bugs that, fortunately, don't affect driveability:

1. The PKE system will not enter the programming mode.
2. The Key-In-Ignition warning doesn't work.
3. The Seat Belt warning doesn't work.
4. The Head Light On warning doesn't work.

Does this mean that my CCM and/or PKE module needs replacing?

This is my first Corvette and I really do like it.

Sorry man, can't help you with your questions, but I had to comment on the fact that this is the first time I've seen anyone complain about not having a key buzzer. :L

Shot in the dark
To enter the PKE programming mode the fob has to be out of range (take it off the ring and move it 15 or 20 feet from the car).
Really shot in the dark
I had a Blazer once and its key in ignition, headlite warning and seat belt warning didn't work if the dash light dimmer was turned all the way down. Cost me a battery and had to take the wife out to dinner after accusing her of leaving the lights on with a warning buzzer. (the dinner cost more than the battery)

Nope, key fob in the house at least 75-80 feet away.

Are you programming it the correct way? If you need the programming instructions (which is most likely the problem) go to "search" and put in "keyless entry". Also check the Fob battery to see if it is okay and then take it by a parts department at a dealer and have them check to see if the fob generates a signal. The other things could be a fuse. Look in owners manual and see what fuse (s) control these circuits and check if they are blown or not installed. Some people remove them as they don't like to be BUZZED all the time.

hmmmm, I have the same deal with my PKE and I'm waiting on a service manual to tell me where all the parts are in the car. I've sprayed and checked every switch in the car but I'm sure it's something worse.

Now the chime thing I do know about...only because I stumbled on it....I took my dash off to glue down the leading edges as they were peeling up when I bought the car...turned out nice actually but that's another story..directly behind the information center, velcro'd to some other part (I suspect it's PKE stuff) was a plastic box with a connector. The second I moved it the chime started going off...apparently after sitting the internal switches or contacts must be worn as it only works when I squeeze it a little. I'm going to pull it and either replace or fix it when I do more on the PKE stuff. That chime box can't be too hard to find for a cheap price.
