Speed Lingerie Auto Bra for C4's

My first post and its "R" rated, oh well. Just took posession of my dream Vette- a '96 LT4 CE with only 3400 miles! After 9 Vettes over the years; this is the BEST! Being a bit annal, I want to drive it but minimize the wear and tear. My past experience with auto bras has been poor- they flap and do more damage than normal driving. The "Speed Lingerie" bras look like better quality and they are color matched and the fit looks quite tight. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. What a great web site. Looking forward to being part of the group.

First of all, let me welcome you to the greatest Corvette site around! You'll love it here.

Secondly, I have a Speed Lingerie bra for both my '96 Grand Sport and the '02 convertible. They are fantastic nose protectors!! The C4 Speed Lingerie is harder to get on than the C5, but both provide more than adequate protection when traveling. We do not use them on just short trips but use them instead on longer road trips. Be sure to remove them when you get to your destination and do not, under any circumstances, leave them on if you've encountered rain!

I think you'll be happy with a Speed Lingerie.

The C4 Speed Lingerie is harder to get on than the C5, Elaine

I have used a Speed Lingerie bra on my C5 for over a year and I have not detected any damage at all from its use. The fit is extremely tight so there is no worry about it flapping. As Diva says, take it off when not in use and after a long road trip, make sure you get all the grime out of it before re-installing. If the C4 is harder to install than the C5, you better have some strong fingers.

Is the Speed Lingerie the bra that is available in colors to match the car? I have a 2004 yellow coupe that's only a couple weeks old that I would like to put one on. Should I also get the mirror covers? Who has the best price for Speed LIngerie?
