Squeaking clutch pedal

96 LT4. Clutch pedal squeaks when moving it in and out as in shifting. Getting worse. Where do I lubricate and what is the best lube to use? Your help is greatly appreciated.

My 88 was doing this. Kind of a squishcreek sound. Anyway remove the lower dash panal and spray some lube on the clutch pedel shaft where it passes through the fire wall. There is a rubber boot on the shaft that was making the sound. Since it is rubber I used silicone spray. No more squishcreek.

Mine required some white grease on the pivot.
