I just noticed the AIM (page 123) refers to this as the 'Radio Capacitor & Tachometer Filter'. The 1978 Electric Troubleshooting Manual (page 7, Figure B) simply describes this as the 'Radio Noise Capacitor', with no mention of the tach.
So I guess it's a dual use... right? Or a typo.
