Targa Top

I am thinking of replacing my glass top on my early 86. I know about the different styles of mounting but I just read somewhere that the tops are the same and you can change the mounting hardware on the top to match the car. I know about changing the car brackets but am not sure about changing the top brackets. Anyone heard of this or tried it? Thanks for any help Charlie

why not send yours in for a replacement? unless you don't have a garage, and your stuck like me!
