After telling people not to flame asking prices, he then goes and tears into my car basically stating its a pile of crap. What a hypocrite.

I will no longer be speaking of the repairs done to my car on this board. Since this jackazz thinks he knows all about my car b/c of what he's read here, it will be in my best interest to stay off the board, and it seems it was a major topic of conversation at Carslile, Im outta here.....Later.

Josh,

Don't you think that maybe you might be over-reacting a bit?

One other thing, can't we just all get along? If there is an argument taking place over at the CF, just leave it there. Same thing here. If there is an argument taking place here, leave it here.

Please?

I am on the outside looking in as far as the Callaway's but if you tell me you own something like a Callaway,ZR1,Lingenfelter or any High performance car and have never ran it hard I would run not walk from you because I do not think that I could believe anything that you said. Do not miss understand me there is a difference between running a car hard and miss treating one. I think the article that SurfnSun is doing is great. I have been looking for a Callaway or ZR1 and I am one of those bargain hunters that you speak of but I like the Vert and 90 up dash better. I bid on the 88 TT and thought if I could get a bargain I would change the whole interior. That being said I would not be afraid of SurfnSun's car because you would be surprised how many that are as lean or worse and at least he is spending the time and money to make it right also not hiding it. I hope you reconsider about posting your efforts. Seems like most of the C4 and C5 prices are in the dumps. I have seen quite a few Callaway's sell and some not. 90 A.C.TT 3,867K miles $25,070.00 N/S, 89 Vert TT 9824K miles $18100.00 N/S, 88 A.V. TT 53,000K miles $22,000 S, 87 C TT 8,800K miles $28,000.00 S, 94 Vert Snat $16,300 S. ZR1 95 53,100K miles $25,200.00 S, 95 ZR1 20,700K miles $31,400.00 S, 95 ZR1 8,700K miles $31,970.00 S. As you can tell I have been watching prices and I have more. Also I think as we get closer to Dec. the prices will drop more JMHO. Wishing to get more out of your car does not work. I sold quite a few of my cars last year some of them I bought new and I know what it feels like, sometimes you just have to do it to move on. I don't think we need to trash each other over quoting prices just because they are not as high as you would like them to be. Sorry about the long post.

Josh don't sweat it, It's just internet static.
This place wouldn't be the same without you :upthumbs

Cross is on his soap box again

Josh

Dont:nono leave our forum we need people like you. You have always been honest and helpful. Also dont let anyone push you out of our forum. Anyone who knows high performance knows that sports cars that are not purchased new were purchased from a sweet old lady who only drove the car on sundays to church:BOW .

Now for the truth, I have had 9 Corvettes (2 of which were ZR1s) Two 5.0 Mustangs , one 5.7 IROC, and a Grand National. I purchased everyone knowing they built to be driven hard and probably were. Any other assumption would be foolish:crazy I drive my cars like they were made to be driven, AND LIKE JOSH I REPAIR THEM WHEN NEEDED. I would buy a car from Josh before buying from someone who says they never had a problem because they are probably not very honest :( The only reason I did not buy Josh's car is that when I talked to him some one else had already agreed to buy it.

Josh needs to stay on this forum because he is HONEST and his posts make it a better place.

I will step down now and thanks for your time.
