I have a 2000 2-dr coupe. Turn signals sometimes do not operate. Saw the thread about pushing the hazard light. This works most of the time, but sometimes difficult to get the hazard lights to come on. Sounds like I have to remove the top dash pad to replace the hazard switch. How difficult is this? How expensive if I take it to a dealer?
I will check the terminals first, but the reason I assumed it was the switch is because at one time it would come on and work everytime, then it progressively got to where they wouldn't come on at all. The part that confuses me is why would the head lamp doors open if the switch is bad; but so does the cruise control too. I should be able to service this switch lever without removing the steering wheel should I?
