I'd use Liquid ICE Clay Bar first, and then put the Ice on it!!I was going to smear that over my fabulous MAACO black paint job.![]()
I found that Ice does not hold up during the winter in the Colorado mountains. I used it on two blazers last year. I find that Zaino and C-Magic are great and hold up. I know Jesse likes Ice and it does a good job for him.

The worst problem I have with it is getting it off if I have to paint!!:W:W:WI have to wipe them down with Poly Cracker 3-4 times and then use Mineral Spirits or Wax and Grease remover before sanding!! If I don't,forget about Fish Eyes,I get Whale Eyes!!eek

I've always heard that you should never use a synthetic product on your paint finish if you ever plan to repaint. Your experience as stated above would seem to verify that. On the other hand, if you are a lazy old fart like me, that stuff really goes on fast and can even be done in the sun. I have lots of trophys to show how good it looks and a lot of people ask what I use. Oh yeah, it's also fairly cheap and available from Wal Mart. Guess if you are a risk taker you use it, drive as carefully as you can and hope you never need body workhnoes
This time of year it just takes a little longer to dry,John!I have been using Ice for a couple of years now on all my cars and today I had a problem with it leaving smudges or smear strikes all over the car. I tried several times to work it out by reapplying the Ice and I could not get it to come off. I tried using water as suggested on the bottle and it did not help. Finally I went back to an old stand by. Classic Car Carnuba Wax. It did remove all the blemishies. How do you get Ice to work so well for you? And do you have to wait more than the time it takes to apply it all over the car before removing it?
Junk I think you have the answear. I now realize that the microfiber towels I was using have been used at least a couple of times already. I will wash them and try another application of IceThis time of year it just takes a little longer to dry,John!
All you needed to do is just go ahead and finish wiping off the rest of the car,and then get a fresh Micro Fiber towel and hit the smudges and streaks!Makes them Shine like the top of my Chromium Plated Head!!
