undercoating in door panel

Hi

I had vette sprayed with undercoating (Krown oil spray)a few years ago,and they said they dont recommend spraying in door panel because of fear it would cause adhesive to separate from door panel. Anythoughts on this. Vette is not driven in winter,just get it sprayed every 5 years to keep a light coat on frame Perhaps i wont do anymore.
 
I wouldn't advise spraying ANY kind of oil preparation on the inside of Corvette body panels; it can "wick" into the fiberglass substrate and eventually lift the primer and paint on the outside (like the A/C compressors that leak tiny amounts of compressor oil and spray it on the bottom of the hood). :eyerole
