Dawn is there!

Reading your list in the stable qualifies as certifiable. 'Eccentric old fart' won't do for you.

The female car collector is a rare and wonderful phenomenon. Thought it was gender specific but you are killing us wannabes. Enthusiast doesn't quite define you and your fleet. Do you sell tickets to the museum?

Tickets!

Its funny..... I do actually get people that want to come by and see! What is really sad is I have a 3000 sq ft shop to house them all.... and that still isn't enough space. Have a two car garage and a four car carport taboot! And my house is only 1600 sq ft.....

Yes, this is expensive.... no I don't have a lot of money.... yes I am in debt....

But it is FUNNER THAN ALL GET OUT OF!! Life's short, damn it so live it while you can!!!!!

Oh, and there are never too many toys. I have nine cats too. I suspect that there is definitely a compulsive thing going on here. :eek

My name is Mike; I'm a Vette-o-holic! :)

Unfortunately, more than thirty days, appoaching 60, as I have fuel pump issues, that I am zeroing in on, between trips, taxes and homeowner stuff. A sobering, if sad thought.;) :w

Gotta love Uncle Sam for supporting us vette enthusiasts! Doh! ;) As a graduate student you get even MORE and ALL SUBSIDIZED! Woo Hoo!

At least we're investing (heavily, in some cases) in your future.

I repaid Sam with 6 years of active duty service. My son is repaying with 5. :w

It's comforting to know my tax dollars are finally being properly utilized.

I have countless corvette stories. There is something special about the car, it is a universal symbol of power, freedom, and fun. The name itself is magical. I've had people walk up to the car and study it, point at the emblems, the tires, peek inside, or just stand there with their hands in their pockets staring at it. When I was parked in farmers market in L.A., a Brazilian family were taking pictures of it, they thought it was the neatest car they'd ever seen. When I was in lake tahoe, this older couple walked up to my car and studied it for a long time, when I walked back to my car he wanted to buy it but I told him I didn't have the heart to sell it, it has a lot of sentimental value. When I get a new client, invariably word spreads around the company that I have a corvette, and everyone remarks on it "Wow! Is that your Corvette parked out front?" All this fuss for a 15-year-old car! I can't imagine any of this stuff happening to the owner of a 15-year-old Accord.
