Valve Cover Question

While working on my 89 the corvette emblem on the stock valve cover came off. Is there a way to put it back on that will stay. What adhesives would work good for this?

Same thing happened to mine last month,and I used silicon II adhesive and it's still there.Was told they used double-sided tape at the factory.

I used the Silicon also a few years ago and its still there....the two sided tape made it stick up to far for me...
